Dear Fellow Americans,

Thank you for your efforts in defeating the Immigration Reform Bill 2007. Millions of your fellow Americans have joined in the fight to save our precious country and our way of life.

Your phone calls, faxes, e-mails and letters are unprecedented, and again, thank you.

The fight must continue though, President Bush is going to meet with Congressional "leaders" this week and attempt to resurrect the failed bill. We must keep up the fight!

Simple letters, faxes and emails work best. "Close the Border", "Where’s the Fence", "No Amnesty", etc. Simple phrases, for simple congressional minds. Senators, McCain, Kennedy, Kyle, and Flake need to have their offices flooded with your thoughts.

We have laws on the books; the Government needs to enforce the laws! Any new laws will be just a white wash! There is movement to have the law in regards to crossing the border illegally changed from a civil or misdemeanor to a felony! This is a start; Employers of illegals must face stiffer fines! "Corporate America" must step up and realize that the average American is tired of million dollar payouts to executives for the efforts of "Slave Labor". This is not the American way!

Also there is movement to have the Fourteenth Amendment (Anchor Baby) changed, this change will not require a ratification of two thirds of the states, it can be done thru legislation in Congress. Pressure needs to be applied to have a law introduced to enforce the provision that Foreign, Alien, Illegal Alien, criminals etc.Their offspring will NOT be automatic citizens if born in the United States. (Refer to section five Fourteenth Amendment).

One of the reasons the bill failed is an amendment the proposed that any illegal criminals could also gain citizenship! And guess who wanted this provision? TED KENNEDY!!!!!!!!! Well, he almost blew a gasket when it was fought against! Does this sound like a real representative of the people? So another underhanded effort for votes goes down. Granted convicted felons cannot vote, but friends, family and non felons can.

It is up to you and me to make our so called” Congressional Leaders”, Governors, and State Representitives, understand that the American People is the Government .Our voice is the rule! Our voice is the true voice of America! We will not stand and have and unjust bill be crammed down our throats by elitists and Corporate America! It is up to you and me, to come up with ideas and express these ideas to our representatives and become active. These ideas will become the true Immigration Reform needed to protect both you and I. Let’s face it, the United States cannot deport 12 million + people .But the people of the United States can and will enact a more favorable solution to this problem that has existed for decades. We must pressure that Mexico must control its side of the border! We must demand that additional troops be sent to the border with authority to detain illegal’s, we must demand that current illegal’s be registered and that all background checks, medical checks, etc. be paid by the person registering. No Welfare, Free Medical, Government Housing, unemployment, food stamps or free public education be granted to an illegal until all requirements are met and that a LEGAL WORK HISTORY of at least three years with taxes paid be established. All family members residing in foreign countries will not be able to immigrate to this country until the above requirements are met. Then all Family members must undergo the same requirements. Employers of illegal’s immigrants must register with the government and become "sponsors" and be responsible for their "employees" both at work and home. This action will make the employers vary nervous about illegal hiring and be more responsible to the American People.

These are just some ideas; your thoughts are just as valuable. We as Americans must stand together and protect our nation from the ravages of illegal immigration. This fight is for our future and our children’s future. This fight is also a humanitarian fight; hundreds have fallen trying to cross the desert. Hundreds have fallen to the ways of human smuggling; hundreds have fallen to the drug cartels. Are we the People of the United States going to let this crime continue? NO!!!
