A LETTER FROM CRAIG
Fellow citizens and patriots, the presidential election is fast approaching. Emotions are starting to run high and the issues that matter to us all (terrorism, socialized medicine, education from cradle to grave, more entitlements, higher minimum wages, taxation that would ruin any incentive to succeed and amnesty for millions of illegal immigrants) are being replaced by religion, age, experience, race and gender.
I write this letter not as a republican, democrat or an independent but as a concerned citizen and patriot. Major forces are at work to change our great nation into a socialist nation, run by the few and powerful, this cannot happen. “A government of the people, by the people and for the people” must be upheld!
The Constitution established our freedoms and “unalienable rights”. The Constitution does NOT state that you are “Entitled” to anything! It is a privilege to live in America, and as Americans we have responsibilities to our community and nation. Among these responsibilities is the necessity to be both good citizens and patriots.
Being a good citizen is lending a helping hand when needed to your fellow American, and if necessary to all the worlds’ people. Americans are the most benevolent people on earth. We Americans have rendered financial aid and the blood of fellow Americans has been spilled for the freedom of almost every country on earth and we have not asked for repayment.
A patriot is one who will defend his country from enemies both foreign and domestic. These enemies come in all forms, destroying our beliefs thru the illumination of God in our everyday life, our heritage, our communities, our schools and our love ones. These enemies are clever using American phrases and invoking patriotism when they truly want anarchy and to overthrow this nation. Groups such as the ACLU, Citizens for Open Borders, etc.
As patriots we must fight to defend our way of life and not be dragged down to the levels of other societies and other cultures. Americans, of all creeds, religions, color, sizes are the shining light to the rest of the world. Granted we have our problems, but we as Americans cannot let these problems divide us as a nation. “A house divided will fall”.
Patriots! Do not let emotions cloud your thoughts! Focus on the issues that will affect you the most! Taxes! Energy Dependence! Education! FREEDOM! There are Candidates running for the most powerful position in the world. The wrong one elected will change America forever and we Americans will be subjected to a One World Order! Our flag will be changed and our children and grand children will become subjects, not individuals and not free.
Your decision in the coming election can and will affect the generations of the entire world! This is not an exaggeration, this is the truth: A New Socialist America of government hand outs, taxation, indoctrination, and no God, or an America with hopes, freedoms, and a guiding light for the rest of the world to follow; an America of opportunity for all, young and old, an America of success thru hard work, an America of good citizens, and Patriots.
